- Mission Design
We can help design the Mission to suit spacecraft and Program requirements. Injection parameters can be optimised to maximise fuel lifetime, considering both orbit transfer and routine stationkeeping costs. Studies will assist in defining the appropriate spacecraft design for the Mission as well as to establish the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of different launch vehicles.
- Launch Vehicle Selection
From compiling RFPs, to Bid Evaluation and Negotiations with selected contractors, we can provide technical support and undertake to perform Mission Studies to assist in making the correct choices.
- Launch Windows
We can derive the launch window times for the selected launch vehicles, respecting the various spacecraft constraints. Additionally, we can verify launch windows computed by other agencies.
- Optimal Manoeuvre Strategies and Fuel Budgets
The fuel lifetime can be maximised by the design of optimal burn strategies. The manoeuve strategy can be simulated over the entire spacecraft life to verify compliance with stationkeeping constraints and fuel budgets. The use of natural perturbations, one example being the inclination vector variation of the Geostationary orbit plane, will be considered in increasing fuel life when compatible with the Mission constraints.
- Tracking Network Selection
Orbit coverage and tracking accuracy sensitivity studies can determine the suitability of the Tracking Network and assist in the selection of appropriately located Ground Stations.
